Food Wars is a fun and imaginative book inspired and written by the creative minds of the children at Kampala International School of Uganda during the 2024 Art Festival. The story follows a playful rivalry between sweet treats and seafood — two sibling food groups battling to prove who rules their territory.

Through colourful characters and exciting twists, the book explores themes of competition, kindness, and self-expression. At its heart, Food Wars reminds children that it’s okay to be different, and that being the best doesn’t mean being mean. Sometimes, the sweetest victory is simply being kind with others.
